2014 ONC-ATCB EHR Certification
On November 11, 2015, Medicfusion EHR achieved Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC-HIT) 2014 Edition COMPLETE Certification via Drummond Group, an Authorized Certification Body (ACB) that has been empowered to test software for compliance with the requirements of the federal government’s program. This stamp of approval designates that the software offers functionality that enables eligible providers and hospitals to meet Stage 1 and Stage 2 Meaningful Use requirements, qualifying these organizations to receive payments under the ongoing EHR adoption program.
To earn the certification, Medicfusion EHR was tested to be in accordance with all applicable standards and certification criteria put forth by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
Medicfusion EHR, which met the requirements for 2014 Edition COMPLETE, is uniquely designed specifically for chiropractors. The software is tailored to suit the needs of chiropractic service providers and in doing so aims to provide everything a chiropractic professional needs in an EHR.

This Complete EHR certification is 2014 Edition compliant and has been certified by an ONC‐ACB in accordance with the applicable certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. This certification does not represent an endorsement by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Drummond Group is accredited by ANSI and approved by ONC for the ONC HIT Certification Program to certify: Complete EHR, EHR Module (all), and Certification of other types of HIT for which the Secretary has adopted certification criteria under Subpart C of 45 CFR.
This certified product-version may require additional costs associated with DrFirst Rcopia, MIRTH Connect and NewCrop Core, has contractual obligations upon sign-up and the EP must purchase additional services that are not included in the initial purchase. The additional costs are per provider costs as each EP will have an associated monthly cost for MIRTH Connect and New Crop Core. There is an annual cost per EP for DrFirst Rcopia. The EP is informed of any additional charges, including DrFirst Rcopia, MIRTH Connect and NewCrop Core, upon signing a contract with Medicfusion. DrFirst Rcopia allows an EP to document medications and medical allergies for a specific patient. MIRTH Connect and NewCrop Core allow the functionality for a patient to view, download and transmit their health information to a third party. This refers to DrFirst Rcopia, MIRTH Connect and NewCrop Core, all third party vendors required for the EP to attain attestation. The relevant certification criteria include: 170.314 (b) (1) and (2), h (1) – (3). There are no contractual limitations and no technical or practical limitations. The ongoing monthly fee for MIRTH Connect and NewCrop Core and the annual fee for DrFirst Rcopia covers the purchase, license, implementation, maintenance, upgrades, use and support for the additional service.
